Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. It must be returned in its original condition and packaging. All hand finished and personalized items are made to order and as such are not returnable or exchangeable. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. However, HerBabyShower will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Please note that sales of all edible products are final. For your health and the health of other customers, we cannot offer returns or refunds for edible favors.

If you decide for some reason that you want to cancel an order you just placed, we can only do so if we have not processed the order yet. Please note that we process most orders immediately upon receipt.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). 

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

 

Processing Time

All orders - with the exception of personalized, customized, or hand-finished favors - are shipped within 2-3 business days if the items are in stock. In most cases, orders leave our warehouse the next business day. Personalized, customized, or hand-finished favors require 3-5 days of assembly prior to shipping. For personalized orders, you may choose the Rush Shipping option to expedite your order and cut the processing time down to 2-3 business days (may cost extra). Please note, we do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. If item is not in stock you will be notified by email as to the status of the next available shipment date (if date is unacceptable you will receive a full refund on your order). Please email us if you would like to know if something is in stock at the time of ordering. 

 

Shipping

Two or three times a week we see disappointed customers who thought they understood shipping times. PLEASE read the following carefully! Next Day Air does not mean that your order will arrive tomorrow!  Similarly, 2 Day Shipping does not mean your order will arrive day after tomorrow. All orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days of receipt of your order unless otherwise noted. Customized or personalized orders will be shipped 3-5 business days from receipt of you order. 

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. In addition, we unfortunately CANNOT ship to PO Boxes at this time.  A physical address is required.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

 

Hot Weather Shipping Policy - Orders Containing Chocolate

May – October

To ensure your order arrives in good condition, all orders containing chocolate will be shipped in insulated packaging with ice packs for an additional fee. In addition, any package that will not arrive in 2 days via UPS Ground will automatically be upgraded to UPS 2nd Day Air (UPS Worldwide Expedited for Canadian orders).

Since chocolate held in shipping depots over the weekend can melt, chocolate orders will only ship Monday through Wednesday from May - October. During these months, we suggest delivery be made to a business address where UPS deliveries occur early in the day. If delivery must be made to a home address, it is best someone is home to receive the package and move it out of the direct sunlight. We will not be held responsible for any melted chocolate unless 2 Day Shipping with insulated packaging is used.
